Kenya is very surprising and Sad surprised they haven't pushed on but wonder if the blame goes to ICC than the board although do have family members saying that politics there is just as bad compared to Zimbabwe.
Got loads of family in Kenya and seeing the leagues and potential cricketers they have it is quite surprising they didn't push on after 2003, issue is that in kenya people can pay to get selected or get higher chances well that is what family member at kenya say.
Never expected them to be in Div 2 at the moment, especially considering my Cousin, son goes to a private school in Kenya and recently goes to England every summer from his School cricket team to play matches in England, think he went lords as well from his school.
They actually quite good at cricket find it hard to believe from where kenya were in 2003 for them to struggle in 2017 especially when they actually got a decent grassroots setup at the time and potential cricket base.
The indian community there even have Cricket leagues, Clubs everything set up and the few private schools also play a lot of cricket and even the local kids would have been able to play cricket considering getting to the semis and seeing tikolo and other really good black players playing well would have been massive for the game in kenya.
