Fifty for Latham. Just as well he wasn't dropped.

NZ doing well here, maybe Clarke should be commentating on this game as this is a situation where NZ need to get a move on if they want to win this match given we lost half a days play already

NZ enjoying a terrific day ...Williamson :salute

Probably won't have time to force a result ; but they're in a stronger position than SA now.

I see a few wickets have fallen late on...but NZ are up with SA and Williamson is still there. Six in hand so they'll need quick runs tomorrow and hope for enough clear skies to bowl SA out again...slim chance at best. But they've done well despite missing Taylor , Boult and Southee :salute

At least SA batting to save the game would give the Test a last act.

hard to see NZ getting enough of a lead to really have SA under pressure, onus is on NZ to maybe take some risks being 1-0 down

Depends on the weather, but if there are two full days (and another early start) there's time, but NZ need KW to do 70% of the work.

just not sure there has been enough of a change in the pitch to suggest there will be a flurry of wickets after just 14 falling in the game so far

depends how hard NZ push to try and get themselves in a position to win

Fair enough. A big enough lead to put on pressure is a long way off anyway.

Kiwi-Mitch must have been studying the same coaching manuals as Pujara.
