From NZ perspective they would be bothered that Southee is not picking wickets with the new ball. Bowler of his experience is expected to do much more especially with two new ball rule and in conditions in NZ.

SA make 3 changes with miller, parnell and pretorius coming in for rabada, behardien and shamsi

rabada has a minor knee injury

Cricinfo saying this is normally a ground for big scores, but also it's humid today and the pitch is underprepared.

Rabada is a big loss. But not as much as Guptill for NZ.

I read rich westerners are buying up NZ as a bunker for when Trump burns up the globe like a match, so maybe the crowd today will be lighting cigars with fifty dollar notes.
