Parthiv a little unlucky ...

still no Rohit or Shami - hopefully they'll be back soon.

hope Ind stick with 5 bowlers so that's a tough choice between Nair and Rahane now

reckon the side should be ... Vijay, Rahul, Chet, Kohli, Rahane, Ashwin, Saha, Jadeja, Bhuvi, Umesh, Ishant ... assuming more of a seamers wicket, otherwise Jayant is in for Ishant.

Should be interesting this. Unlike recent visitors, and the next, BD won't suffer for the difference in conditions, just the quality of their side. And BD won't be disadvantaged for that reason as they were in NZ. Starts tomorrow at 4am GMT.

The sides predicted by cricinfo.

1 M Vijay, 2 KL Rahul, 3 Cheteshwar Pujara, 4 Virat Kohli (capt.), 5 Ajinkya Rahane, 6 Karun Nair/ Jayant Yadav, 7 Wriddhiman Saha (wk), 8 R Ashwin, 9 Ravindra Jadeja, 10 Ishant Sharma, 11 Umesh Yadav

1 Tamim Iqbal, 2 Soumya Sarkar, 3 Mominul Haque 4 Mahmudullah, 5 Shakib Al Hasan, 6 Mushfiqur Rahim ( capt. & wk), 7 Sabbir Rahman, 8 Mehedi Hasan, 9 Taijul Islam, 10 Taskin Ahmed, 11 Kamrul Islam Rabbi

tough call considering he is india 2nd best test batsman and kohli and kumble knows india need him in future test.

either way one man will be hard done for the drop.
seems crazy to drop a man averaging 47 from 32 test and a guy likely to average high 40/low 50s in his career.

one man that won't be happy is Rohit sharma hard to see him getting in the squad now.

for me the most interesting part of this game will be seeing how well Mehedi does against the indian batsmen after taking us apart a few months ago

Nair and Jayant Yadav both dropped as Rahane comes in and Ind go with 3 seamers.

Mehedi bowled well in the first session but had a couple of edges not taken at slip as slip was really standing too fine.

Ind in a good position to build, at about 130-1, after Rahul got out early again.

disappointed Jayant dropped, guessing india wanted 3 seam bowler in the game.
surprised pandya wasn't considered then considering we need to know what he can bring to the test game and be useful overseas as an all rounder.
