Normally you go to India and have to acclimatise because of the heat. But it has been as hot in Australia (91 in Melbourne, 90 in Pune).

Although the humidity might be a very different matter.

I try to usually, but it's more natural for me to use Fahrenheit. Particularly for hot weather.

With wade we always talk about sessions. So 2 before Lunch. If India bat all day, then that will be 6 missed catches for the day.

But seriously, Wade keeping in India. He will need to average at least 50 to make up for his poor keeping, and considering his form of late, that is not likely. Even more worryingly is that Aus have taken one keeper.

If he fails to hold onto the pie, will that count as one of the drops?

Press seems to be saying that Mitch2 (that's Marsh, they've all moved up one) will be playing.

1 KL Rahul, 2 M Vijay, 3 Cheteshwar Pujara, 4 Virat Kohli (capt), 5 Ajinkya Rahane, 6 Wriddhiman Saha (wk), 7 R Ashwin, 8 Ravindra Jadeja, 9 Jayant Yadav, 10 Ishant Sharma, 11 Umesh Yadav.

1 David Warner, 2 Matt Renshaw, 3 Steven Smith (capt), 4 Shaun Marsh, 5 Peter Handscomb, 6 Mitchell Marsh, 7 Matthew Wade (wk), 8 Mitchell Starc, 9 Steve O'Keefe, 10 Nathan Lyon, 11 Josh Hazlewood.

Cricinfo is saying these are the likely teams. Personally, I'd go for six proper bats, then 2+2 for Australia, so then you need to ask who is the best bat out of Mitch2, Khawaja and Slapsie Maxie. Obviously Usman, but after his tour to SL, maybe the force isn't strong with him in Asia. But then Mitch2 batted nearly as unsuccessfully. While at the same time coming second in their averages. MM did score a fifty.

Lest we forget, here are the batting stats for Australia in SL.

Australia probably going into the series as mangier underdogs than England. I suppose a 4-0 win to India seems the most likely outcome. The pitch in Pune is said to be very dry and bare. The big hope for Australia will be if they get to reverse it better than England did. And the dream will be if they can control the game with spin.
