This should be an interesting series. I think at the same time as the CT too. Surprised that wasn't stopped.

Really excited for the West Indies v Afghanistan series. Expect it will be quite close, unless Narine is back.

The Afghans made 115-9 in their 20 overs.

Cottrell 4-0-24-3
Cummins 4-0-19-3
Permaul 4-0-24-2

They then restricted the President's XI to 103-9, to register a 12-run win.

Charles made 53, but there was not much else....

WI v Afg in a couple of hours. Should be interesting to keep an eye on.

Shame that Afghanistan are missing their two best batsmen (Mohammad Shahzad and Najeeb Tarakai) due to suspension.

Poor batting by Afg. Though they have my sympathy facing the last chucker, Sunil Narine.

Afg recovered after Narine finished but comfortable win for WI.

Narine took 3-11, Carlos 2-16, Kesrick 2-19, and there was one wicket each for Taylor and Badree, as they bowled the Afghans out for 110, Rashid Khan topscoring with 33. The West Indies knocked off that target for the loss of four wickets with more than three overs to spare, Walton and Lewis making 20s, and Samuels topscoring with 35. Shapoor Zadran took 2-30.

In a more competitive match, Afghanistan posted 146-6, thanks to 30s from Noor Ali Zadran and Mohammed Nabi. Kesrick Williams took 3-34, and there was one wicket each for Jerome Taylor, Samuel Badree, and Rovman Powell. Marlon Samuels knocked off that target all by himself, hitting 89 not out from just 66 balls, including nine fours and three sixes.
