No suprise that Dale Steyn is out of the whole england tour now...sadly it appears his days of internayional cricket seem to be numbered....In a funny sort of way, despite him being one of the all time great's, SA do have more than enough bowling depth to cover his absences and eventually replace him....i do hope we see him back on the park at some stage though

No Philander either. Still, Morkel is a very good one day bowler, and Rabada is likely to do well in England. Agreed that SA do have the depth to cover.

I think Philander just wasn't selected, they seem purely for test cricket. No suprise really...they have plenty of options in white ball cricket
