TBH most probably support them as a 2nd team or at other sport.
Not many today are from uk either.
Many travelled from India or abroad, guy next to me spent 3-4 k to watch this tournament brought all tickets on black market.

Also since broadcaster and sponsors are India huge amount of tickets are sold or given away to Indian people.
At least 3-5k tickets must be given out to sponsors.

pretty dismal effort

india bowled well but those 2 runouts of abdv and miller came at a crucial time and were very much self-inflicted

Abject.

Despite having a stinker today, Du Plessis will probably end up captain after this. Will De Villiers take another timeout? Something isn't right with him. South Africa have some massively talented players but have a couple of holes in their line-up. Given 50 overs against a Pakistan team that can capitulate at any minute, they may well have won despite setting a modest target. But matters little now - unless they bowl out of their skin, they are going home.

Also tend to follow any former/current/prospective England players.

Hard to put into words how abysmal South Africa have been in the tournament. Let's not forget they're the top ranked side in ODIs.

Both sides got to 115-1. Have to see if the same happens to India as SA.

as a neutral this game has been so disappointing, was looking forward to a good game, especially with it being an elimination game but South Africa just haven't turned up

Good for India's NRR I guess. So I suppose they get to play BD and England get SL/Pak?
