Runs coming rapidly ...Stokes not showing any injury issues bowling - but he's going at six per over.

Need another wicket or two else this could head for 350...

I want to see Root bowl.

Ah ...here he is ...

Tamim getting the hump with Stokes for giving him a friendly tap on the shoulder!

The crowd getting the hump too, you'd think we were playing the game in the sub continent.

The Rashid omission looking like a mistake at this point, with spin being the most economical thus far. Plus he's got useful runs in him.

Puzzling

Why do we do this at every major competition

Omitting Rashid was seriously odd - after they played him on Monday in conditions in which he really was likely to be of little use , to leave him out here makes no sense.

If they were so concerned about Stokes/Woakes breaking down they shouldn't have picked them both : what is the point of a squad of fifteen if you are going to risk players who aren't really fully fit ?

Might not be much for spinners either - Bangladesh have gone more seam- heavy than they usually do. But it would have provided some variety.

Hundred for Tamim :salute

Plunkett losing his line - and getting hit around a bit. Over 220 with ten to go...looks like 330 at least , maybe more.

That batting better be on song today : would be a good time for Roy to find some form !

Short ball from Plunkett eventually gets the break...

In fact he gets both of them in two balls !

Very significant game changer . Two fresh bats might not go so quickly...

Important over that...2/3 ...not far off the hat trick !

Five to go : can they keep them to 310 ? Will be tough...

Hasn't had a great day (though he should have had an early wicket) ...but he's seen Shakib off now which could be a big wicket with 26 balls left...

Sabbir feasting on Ball in the penultimate over...

300 up with one to go : England have come back quite well . Can Plunkett finish ?

Fourth wicket for him now :clap

Excellent death bowling from Plunkett :clap

Has probably saved England twenty runs in these last few overs ...305 much less than it might have been.

Still a decent chase ; but really if the batting is anywhere near its reputation they ought to run it down against Bangladesh on a road like this.

And a good 79 from Rahim....
:clap
Regardless of the outcome of this match, Bangladesh deserve to be here ahead of the West Indies.

Good death bowling by England.

If they can't chase 306 down on this pitch in these conditions they don't deserve to progress from the group stages!
