Was missing the stumps by miles, otherwise it would have missed Roy. He deliberately threw it at the batsman.

to give him out it has to have been done intentionally tho i think

its not like he was running to the end and veered, he was turning to run back to where he had came from and its obviously faster to do a slightly wider turn than just do a 180

And looking at the fielder doesn't necessarily mean you're trying to get in the way, just trying to guage how long you've got to get in.
