Am I the only one to feel some sympathy for Roy.

He would have had to turn 180 degrees on the spot to not obstruct and that is a very unnatural movement.

I take your point , prof. He just might have run that way with no guilty intent. But how often do you see a batsman cross the pitch like that when attempting to regain his ground ? After looking at where the ball was going to be thrown from ? It looked extremely suspicious and I'd have given him out too on that evidence. Don't think he can really feel aggrieved.

Was nice to see him play (admittedly after an extremely lucky start !) one of his blazing innings again though. Should have guaranteed an England win .

Fine debut for Curran. Less so for Livingstone :) Poor chap had a horror outing ...may well come again ; but his cause has been set back heavily by an apparent tendency to freeze in the spotlights...

Not that he should take all the blame. Buttler and Morgan failed to execute what they'd normally expect to do in a canter - and why on earth did Dawson come in ahead of noted big hitter Plunkett at the end ? But should also credit SA - especially the combative Morris :salute

The decider will be interesting . Need to win so selection will be important given the constraints they've given themselves : Hales and Malan to replace Bairstow and Billings/Livingstone . Overton for Jordan ? Does Crane get another shot ? At least it isn't a "dead" match...
