I might be biased but Mason Crane does appear to have something about him at this level.

You often see him getting bogged down in an innings and his wicket is often a blessing to SA to allow a more fluent batsman to get to the crease. Perhaps England were trying to keep him in!

Behardien has done okay the first two matches 65 off 52 and 32 off 21.

Only de Villiers and bairstow have scored more runs so far.

Hopeless today!

Again Willey is a nothing bowler when it isn't swinging, and I can't remember the last time he got any runs with the bat.

Appears to have gone backwards since joining Yorkshire, and probably time to leave him out going forward.

For such a long tail there is absolutely no sixth bowler of any note in the side.

37 needed off the last over so unless Dernbach makes a comeback we should be fine

Indeed. Aside from, presumably, an improvement in his bank balance you would suggest that it's been a pretty horrendous move to Yorkshire for him. He's welcome to come down south.

I'm not against him being in the England limited overs teams, but if he is, then he needs to pretty much bowl out early doors. Never any point leaving him overs to bowl at the end. (I also wouldn't be against him batting at 3).

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.

even with these games not being that important in the grand scheme of things its been a good series for England

2 very comfortable wins and a loss that could have gone either way

in addition the introductions of Crane, Curran and Malan have showed good signs
