Has had a shocker with the bat ; but after a rotten start Dawson has done a decent job with the ball. I wouldn't have picked him but if he can get a couple more he will have proved the selectors very astute judges...

it has been a pitch that has offered alot of help to the spinners tho
not really sure he has shown anything to suggest he is a better spin option than Ali and still think he is a bit of a confused selection

Well I doubt they will normally want to play two spinners in England - just must have judged this one as being a bit unusually dry .

that is a bit unlucky for QDK
will show as "bowled ali" on the scorecard tho even if it took a strange route to get there
