who is?

I just assumed it was Sky as the idea that it might be on free to air is too ridiculous to contemplate

All matches are streamed on the ICC website, Sky Sports also have streaming links on their website and other digital platforms.

TBH sky paid for the extra games.
Be intresting to see how next week England game handled since that isn't the TV game so won't have the ICC commentators or drs.
Will sky send their own commentators.

http://www.skysports.com/cricket/news/1 ... -platforms

Originally only the 10 games were going to be broadcast all India games and few others but obviously sky would like more England games to be shown so they paid for the all lot afterwards or paid money to provide facilities to broadcast England games.

seems an odd way to do it. hard to watch streaming stuff where I live because broadband speeds are utterly deplorable. I tried to watch Sky streaming of the ashes a few years ago... back when I still had sky (I was trying to do my accounts at the table and thought the internet would help me to do that, and watch the cricket, more easily). There was so much buffering going on, that within 20 minutes I was 10 minutes behind the television.

Not sure it has improved any. Pretty poor round here. No cable, shite broadband, very weak TV signal that gets significantly worse in summer when the leaves are on the trees, and I think we were one of the very last areas to have our phone lines switched from analogue to digital.

I was offered superfast broadband a couple of years ago, of up to (forgive me if my memory lets me down) something like 90 doobery doodahs or what ever it's measured in (does 90 sound right? I don't know). I went on some sort of speed measuring website which informed me that the available speed for where I live was 1.8 doobery thingyummybobs.

Still.... I suppose 1.8 is actually 'up to 90' so no rip off there, then

South Africa's bowlers are much lauded but struggled against Pakistan's weak batting line.

nearly 400 in the end. Can't see Pakistan getting anywhere near that, and it will help the NRR too
