Chandimal, the newly-appointed Sri Lanka Test captain, will miss at least the first Test against India after contracting pneumonia. Rangana Herath, who captained Sri Lanka in four Tests in the 2016-17 season, is likely to lead the side in Galle, in Chandimal's absence.

We seem to never have Rahul and Vijay fit for long!

Possibly an important toss for Ind to win - 82/1 is a reasonable start but we probably need to bat really long

158/1 after 34 overs is a good start for India

Dhawan takes the opportunity, with Rahul and Vijay injured, with a century at almost a run a ball. Chet ticking over at the other end
