After SL thrashed Australia at home, they seem to have struggled.
Great win for India.

Jadeja is out of the dead final Test for chucking the ball at Pushpakumara.

I remember years back when Sreesanth got banned for brushing shoulders with a batter straight after Jimmy Anderson had shoulder barged Gambhir and got away without any action at all - looks like things still haven't improved
apparently the umpire who penalised Jadeja was the third ump when Root did this, but took no action ...

Jadeja missing will weaken the team but is a great opportunity for Kuldeep Yadav to make a claim

Well ICC is never known for consistency.
Good article on it on cricinfo.
Even mentions the root incident.

https://www.icc-cricket.com/about/crick ... of-conductNo root on the list from England only butler and stokes in it loads of associate players so ICC are not even being consistent in giving players demerit points.

Is there any footage of what Jadeja did? I have only seen it from behind. Not a good angel to see it from. It might have been a misdirected throw back to the keeper. When looking for evidence of what he did i did come across one of Broad hitting a Pakistan player. Wonder if he got banned for that?

Ton for Shikhar. Looks like VJ might have to wrestle his place back.
No Herath for SL.

Pujara misses out this time and SL making inroads.
Interesting stat on cricinfo, Kohli has never led the same XI twice.
