Match drawn

West indies 135-4

Chase 50 not out
Blackwood seven not out

The opening question is still unanswered.

Kraigg out for six.
Powell 27.
Kyle hope for a duck.
Shai Hope for 46.

Fifty for these two but not much else. Looks like a WI score from a Test, no one going on to make big scores.

The opening conundrum continues....

Kraigg out for eight, Powell for 13, Hetmyer for a duck, and Kyle for 36. At least Shai made 57, and Blackwood chipped in with 50, showing how idiotic the selectors were to leave the latter were for the entire India series. Gabriel did not play this match, which seems to indicate that he may be injured. This Kent second XI bowled the West Indians out for a disappointing 265, with Harltey playing his second FC match, taking 4-80.

Very depressing....Dickson made 142 and Crawley 62.

The Kent second eleven piled up 331-9 declared, Alzarri Joseph taking 4-72, but not much else to talk about. Kraigg took two wickets with his part-timers, and there was one wicket each for Reifer and Bishoo. The West Indians trail by 63 runs on first innings.

Well, after two warm-up matches, the opening slot is still unresolved. On a rain-affected final day, the West Indies limped to 132-4. Kraigg was out for a duck, Powell went for 23, and the Hope brothers failed to push on from a start, Kyle going for 23 and Shai for 30. The not out batsmen were Shimron Hetmyer (43) and Jermaine Blackwood (18).

So, we move on to Gloucestershire, to see if we can figure out who will open the batting with Kraigg....
:hmmm

But runs for the Hopes, including a ton for Kyle, albeit against Derbys with a few unfamiliar names.

A quartet of WI pace bowlers are ripping through the Derbys batting line up like it's 1984.

Not, by the way, with the aid of dusk.
