The opening conundrum continues....

At least Shai made 57, and Blackwood chipped in with 50, showing how idiotic the selectors were to leave the latter were for the entire India series. Gabriel did not play this match, which seems to indicate that he may be injured. Well, after two warm-up matches, the opening slot is still unresolved. On a rain-affected final day, the West Indies limped to 132-4. Kraigg was out for a duck, Powell went for 23, and the Hope brothers failed to push on from a start, Kyle going for 23 and Shai for 30. The not out batsmen were Shimron Hetmyer (43) and Jermaine Blackwood (18).

So, we move on to Gloucestershire, to see if we can figure out who will open the batting with Kraigg....
