Good call. After all, the Sky team are the experts and they watch every ball of the game. Always listen to the experts is my motto. Think Shaun Pollock is an expert addition to an already very knowledgeable team.
Nasser was very complimentary about Stokes application and dedication before play each day. That's the beauty of listening to the experts- they see far more than we armchair critics.

I still remember one of them suggest vikram solanki would retire the greatest player of his generation. And another said England should pick harmison before he was capped on the basis he wasn't a quick bowler.

And then there is Nick Knight....

The experts do tend to know their stuff obviously, but some are afraid to criticise too much (Knight), especially former team mates.

Oh, good win, and yes, Stokes for POTM.

Although they can be bias as well so they may be over critical or not that critical of English players.
For example last year sky were not that critical of the performance against Pakistan.

Although England might lose the next test they playing 10 men again.
If sa draw the series Bayliss should get the sack from the test side, awful coach and the selectors are dopey as well.
How sky are not being more critical of Bayliss and the selection process is beyond me.
England haven't improved under him and they still got the same problems as 2013/14.

Sorry, I'll clarify. I was referring to those covering the current test i.e. Athers, Nasser, Holding, Warne, Pollock -they're experts imo. I'm not claiming they're omnipotent and get every call correct. Obviously you'd need to know the context for those two specific claims- certainly appear extrordinary in isolation.

Warne only an expert on spin and probably bowling mindset, dopey on everything else though.
Agree with the rest though.
Botham and gower not that great though.

Yeh, I suspect Sky would like to get rid of Botham but can't find a way to do it. Gower is knowledgeable but gives the impression he doesn't really want to be there.

Well rumers are gower and botham close to going, would be good if warne goes as well.
Warne is such a waste of space.
Holding was meant to be going soon as well.
Would prefer 2 overseas comms than warne.
Not sure warne adds much considering he way to anti English and doesn't really seem to talk about the opposition.
Sky probably needs someone else talking about sa at times.
If warne was more neutral and talking about both team it would work.
Surprised they haven't found a way to use smith on this series.

Holding used to be very good, but he just doesnt love the game anymore. Its in everything he does. Warne is an idiot. Nasser wants to model himself on Danny M. Pollock might have good ideas, but sadly no charisma. And Athers uses his Cambridge Education to try to make simple things sound revolutionary.

Yep, TRJ needed two more wickets in that second innings to have pipped him.

Stokes took three decent catches off Ali and one in the gully in the first innings as well.

Didn't he drop edgar, who went into score more runs?

TRJ for me. Decimated the south African batting first up

It was Jennings who dropped Elgar.

Yeah it is pretty obvious holding doesn't like cricket anymore.
Sadly it seems Money talks and sky are desperate for him to stay he was meant to go last year.
He basically said last year was his last.
