If this keeps up, how long till the WI play another series in England? They might have to start looking at tours to Ireland.

After some of the balls that weren't called yesterday from the West Indies bowlers , TRJ can feel hard done by with that call of wide...

Pretty awful first over actually . Bit surprised Jimmy came off so early ?

A typical WI scoreboard, with a few minor starts on it.

To be honest I would be more interested in going to see west indies vs Ireland or Afghanistan or Sri Lanka or Zimbabwe or Bangladesh. I don't see the point in going to watch this.

As Arthur pointed out on another thread the west indies tend to offer better opposition to England in the Caribbean.

I tend to feel that England's opening bowlers have had so overwhelmingly the best use of conditions and ball over the Cook years that it hasn't been good for emerging bowlers and has self perpetuated England's reliance on those two bowlers. I get a feeling Root is moving away from that a little, but A&B still bowled the first 24 overs of the innings. With the pink ball, getting the 25th over might be a bit of a dubious opportunity.

Dowrich out for four. I can't say I expected better.

Blackwood gets his half century! Finally something to applaud in what has been a pathetic west indies performance.
:clap

Fifty for Blackwood, a proper score among many failures.

But Moeen gets Holder.

England should enforce the follow on. Bit of a farce if they don't.

England have to enforce the follow-on, surely? 350 runs ahead, five bowlers who've only been going for one and a half sessions, and the threat of rain? It would be insane if they didn't.

Poor bowling against Blackwood, especially by Stokes. Far too short and wide. There was obviously some sort of plan to bowl aggressively to him, but if there was it was very poorly executed.

Why is there no hotspot for the Holder review? I noticed it was missing in the SA series too.

Chance for Broad to go past Beefy's wickets total tonight.
