Last time Australia played in BD, Jason Gillespie scored a double ton.

That was a very long time ago, though for Dizzy im sure it just feels like yesterday.

Maxwell will play. Not sure about this team, Australia ot really playing to their strengths. Im guessing they will be expecting a few runs from Agar as well. Can Lyon have a similar series to what he had in India. In that series only Jadea had a better strike rate than him :salute Australias hope probably rest on his shoulders.

Australia also have some very big questions over Renshaw, Handscomb and Khawaja. And lets be real, one will not expect Warner to get much runs away from home.

So Australia will be relient on Smiths runs, and hoping others can contribute :facepalm

Barring India and maybe Pakistan, I believe Bangladesh can defeat everyone else at home. If not win the series, you back them to edge out their opponents in one Test.

Bangas win the toss and bat. Cummins takes a wicket in each of his first three overs. Bangas climbing back into it now, at 3/43

Cummins doing some very ealry damage to BD. Pitch seems to have some cracks in it and Lyon has already had a few bite. Looking tough to bat on.

How great to have Cummins back for Australia.

the supposed 1 stream for me to watch is not working - I suspect that it is awaiting the Eng/WI match to start.

On the plus side, I got to watch the McWeather/MayGregor fight, in perfect HD.

Lyon repeatedly beating the edge at present. Too much turn, so maybe not the best sign for the Aussie batsman.

Time for Agar, or another birst from Cummins.

Tamim is some player, and feels underrated. Shakib too.

100 partnership up. Very scratchy at first and rode their luck, but now looking pretty solid.

Aus could be in a bit of trouble here. Batting last as well. Will need one of the bowlers to get on a role here.

Maxwell breaking the stand at last ...but with 160 on the board already they need some more wickets quickly , you'd think : enough there so early in the game to suggest that bating against the home team's spinners - especially in the fourth innings - will be tricky.
Think this may be an interesting contest.

I would have BD ahead here.

Chances are still being created but not quite carrying to feilders. Anything over 250 might be a struggle for Aus. Agar not had many overs yet.

Just had another look - they have the Bangas at 3/18.

I like this stream.

ah, rain, I see.

Each of the 3 spinners getting a wicket in the first couple of sessions is not a good omen for Aus.
