not pretty reading for the batsman excluding lyon.
"Cummins has now faced as many balls as Warner, Smith, Khawaja, Maxwell, Wade and Lyon combined.

Same problems again BH. But these batsman will make runs in Aus so its fine...... Warner really needs to mak some runs overseas if he wants to be known as an Australian great.

Obviously Smith is allowed some failures, and Lyon we can forgive :laugh

If Agar gets some more wickets in this series, then we might well see him challange Lyon as the spinner in this team. His batting will give him the edge knowing how weak Australias line up is.

Not the greatest morning for me.
Bangladesh take a lead of 43.
Hopefully they get another 100-150 runs and I they win.

After Ashton's 98 at Trent Bridge, another big stand with the bat.

Still game on after the contributions of the all rounders. Australia chasing 200 would make for a fine finale.

either cricviz is smoking something but they have Australia 76% fav which was dopey since yesterday it was 76% ban fav.
apparently ban will be 118 all out and australia to chase 162 with 4 wickets to spare.
not sure how they see that happening.
for one not sure how realistic it is to think bangladesh lose 9 wickets for 73 runs.
or the lowest they think bangladesh will score being 74 and the highest 162, with the median being 118.
do they honestly think Australia will take 9 wickets for 30 odd runs.
even if they think that many wickets will fall because the pitch looks tricky then surely ban are for more fav to win because of runs on the board and the fact most of australia batsman can't play spin.
plus from the final session i seen, 200-250 is scoreable for bangladesh, I be surprised if they all out for 162 is the highest they could achieve from this point of time.
if anything I would put around 180 the total they should be getting at least from this point.

yesterday night they were giving stupid number on england as well.
think they were saying england could lose all wickets for 60 runs and the most they could be getting will be around 160 today.
not really sure how they saw that being legit with all the batting england had coming and the bowlers WI had.
thought cricviz based everything on players stats and conditions, plus adding in home and away stats.

Close of play. BD well in control of the game now, with 100 runs in the match for the mighty Tamim- in his first game v Australia. Since the start of 2015, he averages 47 with over 1000 runs in 13 games. Only Azhar and Rahul average more of openers with 1000 runs in this period.

quite funny how a day changes, yesterday was more worried about the england game, today Bangladesh.
bangladesh are more likely to lose than england are at the moment.
although that probably a good sign since I have bangladesh winning 7 times out of 10 maybe even 8.
only really a collapse that is possible is making me worried, ban still need to score around 120-130 runs to be in a match winning situation.

BD are moving towards a 250 run lead here, which is probably 50 runs more than they need.

Australia will need to bat out of their skins here to get cose to this total.

A couple of nicely poised test matches at present.

The umpiring has not been great in this match. Many overules from the 3rd umpire.

Aus really need to finish this, and get batting tonight. Then Warner can throw his wicket away.
