An older ball and two set batters should see the the Aussies to the close and give them a good chance in the morning. Great fightback from Australia.

Question is whether they can turn this into the match winning lead they want...

Certainly this has been Australia's day ...I think Bangladesh have been a bit timid in their approach - with both bat and ball - contrary to the pre-match protestations of their captain. Seemed to have been waiting for something to happen rather than really pressuring the batsmen.

Kept hearing the rain was going to wreck this match but no sign so far...

Lets hope the rain stays away.

Handscomb seems to be in a bit of bother, hopefully he can stay in till close. Im not confident in the batters to follow. Well Cummins and agar i have confidence in, but till those 2......

Warner last 2 innings have been a welcome change in his overseas form. Still plenty of questions there, but perhaps now it is starting to be addressed by Warner. I am one of his critics, but happy to see the improvement in this series. He will be needed to make some mroe runs here though.

260 wickets at 32. He's a good bowler, has a good record and is crucial to this OZ side....yeah he has played 6 subcontiental tests this year, but traditionally sub continenet sides play spin well, so he's done well...bowling on helpful pitches dosent gurantee wickets, he has done well

He has definetly done well, and probably not getting the credit he deserves in Australia. Because this is not happening in Australia many supporters will not notice.

Can guarrantee on the first day of the ashes people will be calling for him to be replaced if he does not get a wicket. :stupid

Been impressed with Handscomb's tenacity and strength over the last six months
"It has been said of the unseen army of the dead, on their everlasting march, that when they are passing a rural cricket ground the Englishman falls out of the ranks for a moment to look over the gate and smile."

Doing a good job in this series.

Hardly scored a run when it mattered though. For Yorkshire.

No sign of the rain that was supposed to ruin this match. I can't see it being a draw unless the rain arrives, though.

:laugh

The rain has certainly not been kind to Australia in this series. Only tour game rained off, now in a dominant position in this test and it looks like the whole day will be lost.

Im sure the Australians will be asking, where was the rain in the first test :rasta

Some uneven bounce now. Handscom goes after 152 run partnership.

No worse way to get out.

Ton up for Wee Davey and Slapsie digging in. Good day so far for the tourists. Only 35 behind. Hope the rain doesn't kick in as this looks a good contest and a fine recovery from defeat from the Aussies. A third Test would be nice.

Slapsie has looked a little suspect. with the pitch changing a little, if Aus could get 150 ahead, that might well be enough.....
