Smith saying Khawaja will play. Good luck with that...Bangladeshi spinners will eat him for breakfast...

Also Agar pencilled in ahead of the new boy , Swepson. He's been talked up for a return a few times but this time he probably will get to add to his Test Caps.

Wonder exactly what O'Keefe did to be so summarily dismissed from calculations...

Well, O'Keefe was banned from a domestic competition only a few months ago for being offensive while drunk at an official CA event, wasn't he also in trouble with the police for being drunk this year as well. Hardly surprising he's not getting picked for the international side.

Real shame that he has decided to take that route...because he is easily the 2nd best spinner in OZ, much more threatning than Agar...

At this point he'd probably be better looking for a County contract for the winter season rather than holding out for an international call up. The rumor was always that Clarke didn't like him, since Clarke left he seems to have just blown up his career.

Noticed Khawaja has been re-called? Any chance of Joe Burns ever getting a recall? Didn't do too bad IMO when in the side and is a useful player of spin..even if he batted 3?

No warm up game for Aus, got to help BD.

I would have BD as favourites for this series. Aus did well in India, but had a shocking tour of SL before hand.

Shame that their warm-up was washed out..tough to go into a sub-contiental series with no time in the middle agianst spin at all..

It looks like Agar will be getting another test cap.

Feels ages since Australia played a Test.

Are they going:
Warner/Renshaw/Smith/Khawaja/Handscomb/Wade/Agar/Cummins/Lyon/Hazlewood/Bird?

Swepson/Maxwell/Cartwright.
I always say that everybody's right.

Cricinfo has Maxwell for Bird in that scenario. And for BD:

1 Tamim Iqbal, 2 Soumya Sarkar, 3 Imrul Kayes, 4 Mushfiqur Rahim (capt & wk), 5 Shakib Al Hasan, 6 Sabbir Rahman, 7 Nasir Hossain, 8 Mehidy Hasan, 9 Taijul Islam, 10 Shafiul Islam, 11 Mustafizur Rahman,
I always say that everybody's right.

Slapsy scored runs in India, so will play in BD. Good memory these selectors.
