Maybe let down by the inadequate public transport links between The Riverside and surrounding environs...

So much of last night was flawed.

No point to a One off T20I and why start it in the evening in mid September?

It's worth noting that the eleven who played for the west indies last night were completely different from the test team. These guys are limited overs specialists now.

Not sure if this sands up, but could it have been to get a slot in the Sky Big Events channel?

Biggest issue to know me was giving Durham the game, then depriving them of their homegrown star playing in the match!

Why not rest him from a couple of ODIs instead :dunno

Still can't quite figure out why Malan was dropped after making 78 on debut...

I was wondering about that. But I suppose it was a side with a few players missing for his debut.

Bairstow will continue ahead of Roy as Hales' partner in the ODIs.

Now that i do agree with...Bairstow done okay in his only game and so should be given chance to cement his place....won't be long before Roy is back though IMO

Good start from WI starting to run aground. Wickets for the Birmingham pair.

The vibe I get is the ODIs will be a good contest, though maybe I'm off beam as WI are way down in the rankings.

Big wicket for the mighty Woakes.
