He seems to bowl within himself these days. He said he wanted to play until 40. Hopefully there'll be better options before he reaches that age.

Interesting to see how he goes during the coming ashes. 26 wickets in 13 test in Australia, if he keeps to those averages, he will ned a few years to get to kumbles record.

One of the best English conditions bowlers (McGrath? Marshall?). He'll pick up plenty in a seven Test home summer every year.

It is amazing that he has ended up playing so many test at home where his record is amazing.

Of the 129 test he has played, 76 have been at home. I guess this comes down to how much the ECB rates test cricket.

Odd there should be such a variation. England play more at home than away, but only about a Test per year.

Two down. Game about all square.

Whats the weather forecast for the coming days. If the sun comes out and the pitch suddenly dries, outfield becomes fast. With so few overs bowled, batting last might not be to much of a problem.

I maybe got Stokes wrong, but I remember a day when me and greyblazer were the only people to persist that Anderson was world class in waiting.

Great achievement. Could be the last of England's test legends that truly mastered his craft

Kyle hope simply looks out of his depth. Powell has been stuck with but no good. Dowrich can't bat.

Fair assessment

Poor session for England this, under very favoutable bowling conditions.

Moderate bowling, a dropped catch, poor reviews, messing about with the ball, slow in the field, and Anderson almost out of the attack.

Windies have batted well, and game very much in the balance.

When did they decide that batting in the dark under lights with the red ball was okay?

Never remember it happening before.

Was there not a super late finish against Pakistan last year?
