Seemingly from nowhere, Elgar has turned into a very handy batsman

Passing 50 every third innings (since start of 2016) is a common benchmark for a good player, which Elgar has managed.

Maybe a low bar to clear in this match, but all the batters get games like these.

FAF was trying to catch Bangladesh out while Tamim was off the field.

Follow on avoided.

Amla out for 28. South Africa off to a shaky start to their second innings.

Bavuma and du Plessis hit half centuries.
:clap
Bavuma out for 71, du Plessis for 81, and de Kock cheaply...declaration coming shortly, you'd think.

247-6 declared. Target is an unlikely 424. 53 overs left in the day's play...also unlikely.

Startling collapse by BD in the second innings. 68-7. In a game where the bat has dominated too.
