Passing 50 every third innings (since start of 2016) is a common benchmark for a good player, which Elgar has managed.
Maybe a low bar to clear in this match, but all the batters get games like these.

FAF was trying to catch Bangladesh out while Tamim was off the field.

lead is 235, Bangladesh need a lot more wickets and quick to stand a chance here

Amla out for 28. South Africa off to a shaky start to their second innings.
Bavuma and du Plessis hit half centuries.
Bavuma out for 71, du Plessis for 81, and de Kock cheaply...declaration coming shortly, you'd think.
247-6 declared. Target is an unlikely 424. 53 overs left in the day's play...also unlikely.
