Going to be:

Cook/Stoneman/Vince/Root/Malan/Bairstow/Moeen/Woakes/Overton/Broad/Crane

tonight. So no Foakes/Curran/Ballance and Anderson and Ball are injured.

Seems like England not happy with the warms up but don’t want to complain because it will make them seem like they are whiners.
Yet they tell this to journalist and articles are written about it that makes it look like England are complaing about the warm up games.
Surely if they don’t want Australia media to know they not happy with the warm up they wouldn’t really talk about it to the media.

Although Australia push the limit for what type of players they should send to these games.

Surprised that Curran doesn't get a game.

Anderson was always going to be rested for this game and he’s not injured. Cricinfo says “sickness” so likely to have a bug of some sort.

Another good bowling day for Woakes with 6-54 including a spell of 4-8. Nine wickets for England in the day in Townsville.

Only one wicket for Broad, to add to the one he took v WAXI.

YJB took a knock to the finger but was able to resume with the gloves after an hour.

Crane went through the usual initiation for new England bowler by having two catches dropped.

Broad was by far our best bowler last time out. No-one remembers, because he laboured in vain, but he took 21 wickets at 27.

In 2010-11 he only took 2 wickets in 2 games at 80, but was injured during the second test and didn't play in the final 3.

Nice to see Cook and Stoneman getting some runs here, although this does appear to be a pretty abject CA XI line-up. Still, you can only score against what is put in front of you.

Retire out on 100 and let others have some time in the middle? Or go for the win?

Should be able to manage both. Just Vince in want of a few runs now.
