He got 2 ducks in 4 Ranji innings playing for Mumbai leading to this test series. Remaining 2 were 45 and 49. So he was having a bad time. Scored 4 and 0 in Kolkata. This knock (2 runs) continues his tough time.

He'll be fine once we are playing outside India!

He needs to be judged on current form too, rather than considering his past form only. The last test contribution will be key for him. All our batters (Shikhar, Vijay, Rahul, Chet, Virat and Rohit) are in form. Ajinkya is yet to strike form. But i think he may somehow make the squad for SA when selectors will consider his overseas experience and back him.

I doubt Sadeera Sickawarama will be in the side long...haven't seen him score any runs yet..gets in, gets out, high strike rate but no temperament... next

Definitely such a huge loss will for SL selectors to drop about 2 first choice players and then we probably get second choice players for next test which will make our task much simpler. So it's better we finish off last two wickets very soon.

Pujara falling for the leg gully trap was a bit of a surprise but Kohli and Vijay have restored normal service. Ind should be looking to bat really long, especially since we've gone for 6 batters so bat pretty deep
