yeah backfootpunch.
incredible stuff from SA though it looked like the pace men were tiring and then suddenly they take 3 quick wickets incredible stuff really.
changed very quickly as well when kohli was batting you thought india might win quite easily in the end considering the total was getting close to 2 digits.

Philander and rabada doing some serious damage to the middle order.
Nobody has a stance quite like the mighty Shivnarine....

There'll be a partnership somewhere along the way. There always is.

that partnership has to be now.
you don't really want to rely on Bhuvi and Shami etc to score 130 odd on this deck.

They must be seriously thinking about bringing in Rahane and Kl Rahul for the next game.

yeah they should have.
might have made the difference between a loss and win here as well considering they wasn't really much separating india or SA in this game.
at the moment it looks like Ab De villiers is been the difference between both teams.

Seems like this match will be over even before 3rd session. :Nooooo

Almost turned true. Just 3 wickets left. :facepalm

Not shocked though . Moreoever after they got the massive lead of 70 considering this wicket and how our batsmen failed to survive even against Lankan bowlers in ODI last month, drawing this was impossible even though one day was wasted by rain.

Now it's a matter of pride. Shouldn't fold below 100. Will save some face. Should save some face.

And Steyn has not even bowled one over. Three bowlers have been able to make it 86/7. South Africa are just superb and our batters are just as they are expected on bowler friendly wickets.

If FAF had not made a blunder of making us bowl first, this would have definitely been worst.

Ashwin played that shot really well. nice drive. At least he should use this match as practice for the next test. Try to take as much possible from the remaining overs.

I wouldn't be too downhearted if I was an Indian fan

Think this current crop of quick bowlers is by far the best you have ever had and took 20 wickets

You really needed a warm up game or two, batsmen don't have much chance going from Asia to facing rabada, philander, morkel and Steyn on a helpful wicket in South Africa

Totally agree.
you expect india batting to improve has the tour goes on and the fast bowling was a huge positive in this game.
if they continue to bowl like this for the rest of the year india will win games and series if the batting clicks.

Should be more competitive than in the past if the batting improves

The moving ball is a big worry though, any top bowler will fancy there chances, the batsmen weren't given a chance in this match really
