The new ball got wickets as well through out this test.

Would love to know Kholis thinking and reasoning behind this.

He will give some Lahori logic. New ball would have gone faster to boundary.

TBH Kohli is a really poor captain, it is sad state of affairs that it is the modern trend that captain don't really get critised on their tactics or how they lead, generally only really results matter.

even at home kohli is a pretty poor captain, from what I seen Rahane is a better captain than kohli.

When India bowl SA out can they still be punished for their slow over rates?

and has Kholi got any demerit points from slow over rates already?

yeah they can be punished although the overrates are based on both innings.
they probably won't punish him though considering no one gets punished unless you are Thranga and they already given him one demerit point for this test match.

Good spell from Shami this, if only he could do this consistently although suspect the rumers of him carrying a niggle is true though.
probably why he been inconsistent if he is carrying a injury.

SA would be hoping for another 30 runs i reckon.

98 overs tomorrow. Plus how many they can get through this evening.

9 down. Jas takes a superb return catch. Nicely bowled slower one.

Well played by Faf. Think he has sealed the match.

TBH for all the outcry of Bhuvi omission it wasn't really a bad call in the end considering the deck isn't really going to suit him and they did go with the 3 fast men more likely to get the most out of the deck.
wonder which bowler will miss out in Johnannesburg for bhuvi if the deck looks like a bhuvi deck.
at the moment not really sure which bowler can miss out here.
like Ishant at the moment, Bumrah looks a good wicket taker and Shami bowled well in this test.
tough call for the selectors considering all 4 pace men bowling well with pandya bowling well as well, which is probably the reason why Ashwin was going to miss out 2 days before this test.
