TBH he just took the easy decision to drop a spinner rather deciding what quick not to play.
Saw the green deck and just went with no spinner.
Think Kohli gameplan before the series was a normal deck Ashwin in anything helpin the fast bowler a lot and he would be dropped for 4 fast men.
Think it was between pandya and Ashwin for the last spot.
Ashwin should be back in the team for England series.

Could be a match winning innings this from bhuvi.
200 is a serious total on this deck,
Sa would bat really well to get 150 here.
Quite possible if bhuvi and India bowlers bowl well here sa all out around 130.

Oddly enough 187 isn’t really pathetic here.
Pretty decent effort on this deck, massive gamble to bat first here , either they wanted the challenge of batting or they didn’t trust the bowlers to bowl sa out for below 150.
Sa should be disappointed with the bowling could have done slightly better.
Bowled too short at Kohli and pujara probably cost them 50-60 runs in the end have to see if that will be valuable or not when they bat.
Doesn’t look an easy deck to survive or score runs on.
