From the little i have seen from this pitch, the Indian bats should not have to many issues.

I watched the whole match last two days, but nobody apart from Virat is giving me confidence. Maybe someone will support him but i can't confidently take one name. Even Vijay did not look faultless. Virat played a chanceless innings yesterday from what i remember.

Sounds like another decent match. One of those ones where the next morning session always seems like it's going to be crucial.

A good first hour for India and the pressure will be back on SA.

Hundred partnership and no early wickets. That first hour hasn't started yet for India.

I suppose the Kohli factor could mean SA will only start to feel safe if the target reached 400+, which is too remote to contemplate.

Interesting reading Morkels comments on the pitch. Nothing much in it for the SA quicks. Reckons its like an indian wicket. So 400 might not be enough for SA.

That probably the only advantage india got his that the SA pace bowler don't really want to bowl on it.

Although saying that these two are taking the game away from india anything over 250 is never really easy against any opponents.

ABDV hasn't made a Test ton since December 2014, in Centurion.

Hasn't actually made one away from home since October 2013.

Another typical elgar innings, gives so many chances, plays and misses etc yet gets a 50 and probably another hundred.
would love to hear Sussex take on Elgar lol.
how he got those runs his beyond me though.

Really don't understand the man could have putted his names on the all time greats books and then he decides that nah don't wanna play test anymore, he might not even play test after Australia series either.
rumers were he only played the india series because of his MRF deal.

With Saha out of the tour now with the injury, india got to decide who keeping in the next game, parthiv keeps the gloves, Rahul gets the gloves and opens with Rahane at 6 or 5 with rohit 6 or Dinesh Karthik comes in for Parthiv.
