No one able to support Elgar here.

4 wickets for India to get to have a memorable victory here.

Really should from here

80 odd is a lot of runs on this wicket

Kumar and Shami cleaning up the tail...Rabada and Morkel out for ducks.

South Africa 177 all out.

Elgar 86*

Shami 5-28

It's a pity this isn't a five-Test series....

South Africa win 2-1. Good contest.

You can't declare

Imagine the uproar if S.A. was to win 9 wickets down

175 is enough on such a wicket. Players safety is important as well imo.

Would have lost by 2 runs as per my winning target of 175 runs. I am disappointed though. I wanted to win series. I repeat since 1990 I have unable to enjoy watching us win a series in SA. We could not even draw this.

I looked earlier and saw SA on 120 odd for 1 and wondered what the fuss over the pitch was all about

then I saw the final score

crumbs!

Seems the old Boycott adage about adding 2 to the wickets column to assess a score was a little off the mark for this pitch. One brings two was more like one brings eight.

Elgar and Amla probably deserve a lot of credit for their stand

Well done to India.

Great effort by Elgar though.

Great victory for India.

I'm thinking Australia will like what they have seen here.

I don't think Saffers will doctor wickets same way like they did for I did series. Aussie are expected to bat better than us on pace friendly wickets.
