The wickets were not at all batsman friendly. 12 specialist batters have batted for 6 innings and there is only one ton. 72 innings from specialist batters and just on e ton is scored. The team totals too for both teams were less than 300 on almost all occasions.They targeted our weakness by providing pace friendly wickets and they have succeeded. The wickets in no way were batsman friendly.

The grass on the pitch for the final test was not what SA wanted, and played more into Indias bowling strengths than SA's. These were not quick bouncy pitches.

The form of De Kock must be a worry for SA, has been short of runs for some time, if he's going to bat 6 then he needs runs and quick!

Not clear who India's first choice seam attack will be. Pandya had a poor series with the ball, but all the other pace bowlers had their moments. And four is cut in half when they get back home.

Ashwin's reputation away from home was neither enhanced nor damaged.

They have a very long tail with him at 6

Bhuvi and shami are definitely the best two for me

Umesh has fallen out of contention too....Bumrah had a fantastic first series in test cricket, hard to pick between India's seamers atm..

By all accounts that's what they asked for as well. I guess one does not always get what they ask for. Should make the Australian series interesting. At present neither team has a strong batting line up.

Shami is hit the deck when fully fit. Bhuvi is totally different . There form will decide who is no 1 and no 2. There is no leader of the bowling attack as of now. That is our next scope of improvement.

Please no Umesh Yadav. Cannot control the ball. Can't have him just for reverse swing, Shami can also reverse. Too wayward a bowler. Anyone taking name of Umesh Yadav will be gifted a autobiography of Danny Morrison free of cost and it will be ensured that this autobiography is delivered.

That third innings was a real outlier. And the India tail not getting blown away like the SA lower order made the difference.
