The blunder to play bumrah over bhuvi is not going too well for Kohli.
Not really sure how he sees bumrah and bhuvi being the same type of bowlers lol.

Ashwin has looked the better of the 5 bowlers today. He is creating a good number of half chances.

130/1 . This partnership is taking the match further away from us. Lot of batting to come for SA.

This wicket is nowhere near the one in first test. Also this being our second match, our batting will definitely be much better than in 1st.

The risk to play bumrah not going to well, really even in the first game he wasn’t able to bowl the same ball over and over again doesn’t seem to have a stock ball.
Got away with it in the first game because of the extreme bowling conditions but here he going to be expensive because any width, short ball or full ball will get punished.

Looking at the pitch, you feel Indias best chance again is in the 3rd innings. As long as SA don't build up to big a score in the first innings.

50 runs in the last 10 overs. This is getting away from India. Ashwins last 4 overs have gone for 21.

Problem is India got 2 pace men at the moment not getting it right, sa know this so attacking Ashwin so India have no one to turn too.

Toss was massive here as well.

Think India will be in the game if they can restrict them to less than 400 or 450.
Anything over 500 and sa win the game.

Thought I would never say this but actually prefer dhoni as captain, that probably shows how bad Kohli is has a captain.
Pretty sad though because Kohli does try but not sure he got the cricket brain.
Rahane should be captain, he was impressive in that last test against Australia.

148/2 feels much better to look at. Well played Aiden, nice watching his innings.

Nicely flicked by Amla for 4. He is no more the player he was years back, but still those glimpses can be seen in this innings.

Parthiv drops Amla. This is why he is a risky option as keeper. Can't keep the way Saha does against pace bowlers.
