50 for Faf. He's batted well.

Saha injury might be costly.
Parthiv dropped couple of catches already.

Another small partnership. Probably starting to get a little irksome for India fans.

TBH in my eyes sa around 80 runs below par, even if you take into account of India being away team and reduce the par score to 300 to take that into account they just a little bit over on a deck not really suiting 4 fast men yet.
India done well considering many people expected 500+ score from sa.

Rabada out to Ishant. Well caught by Hardik.

As I said before this tour, it will be good to have him at DBSL position. This is one bit of captaincy I liked about Virat.

Not saying India aren't on top, but 70 runs for two tail end wickets is still a bit frustrating.

Picking ishant wasn’t a bad decision it was actually smart and very good logic to it they just dropped the wrong man for bhuvi not that it would have made any difference on this deck, if anything because of the deck it is a marginal call between shami and bhuvi.
Although I think the pro of kumar outweighs the cons of shami.
Either way India fans should be please that one quality pace man can’t get in the team.

TBH these day I don’t find the tail scoring runs annoying considering most number 8 and 9 can bat, only get frustrating when 10- and 11 do i

Ishant bowls Faf. Big wicket. 333/9.

Lungi takes strike.

Maybe Shami should be the one to make way for the return of Bhuvi for the final Test.

Having said that, Bumrah and Pandya have been fast, but not really that successful.

Then again, it depends what kind of wicket the Wanderers offers.

South Africa 335 all out.

Ashwin 4-113
Ishant 3-46

Feel Rabada will open in Steyns absence.

Most people had shami getting dropped for Ishant anyway before the game, when bhuvi was dropped it was a massive surprise.

Having said that, Shami's done better than Bumrah on this tour so far, so maybe he's the one who should make way.

Maharaj opens the bowling....

Bhuvi and Shami are top pace 2 bowlers in India. .
