2-0 certain now. Hope it's not a whitewash. Was sure before this series started that we would not win this series, buy I also thought we could win at least one test. Could the last test be the one. The batting is hopeless .

The ideal winning combo would be the batting lineup of 1996 and bowling attack of 2017. Fantasies.

Got to say Ngidi is quite impressive.
first time I seen him play.
Don't think SA will have any problems with the quatas system at the moment considering they have quite a few quality black, and coloured players in the books, should also mean Rabada gets a rest as well, the worry was before he would have to play a lot more cricket to make the numbers.

The hopeless batting continues. SA did not even need Steyn in this test.

It'd be interesting though if these two got the target to double figures with an old ball in use.

Bit baffled with Adi 1996 batting line up
didn't india get all out for 100 and 66 in durban, 144 in Cape town only in the drawn match in johannesburg did india score runs.
personally would take the 2006 india batting line up and the 2017 bowling attack.
the 2006 batting line up had Tendulkar, Sehwag, Dravid, laxman, Ganguly.
The 2006 team nearly won the series in SA as well.
was 1-1 before the decider in Cape town and could have won the Cape town test, but didn't bat well enough in the 3rd innings and SA chased down 211.

Yep AC. Quick runs, put some pressure back on SA.

TBH I would prefer if the game is over quickly so I can get my £1144 win.
Can't believe I placed a £2500 bet on SA to win.

Think some T20 is going on. At least our score seems so. 83/6. Btw 160 is a par score even in T20. That also looks impossible.

Adi you should forget about this game, the game gone india didn't really have a chance in this game when the lead went past 220.
too much variable bounce in this wicket, if anything it would be better if india all out for 90 odd, the worse that could happens is if a bowler gets injured because of the variable bounce.
if anything the chaseable total probably contributed to india losing 6 wickets easily here, the deck looks impossible to score runs but easier to survive.

the middling total looks to have caused a problem with the indian batsman mindset considering they need to score runs to chase them down but at the same time they know they need to survive as well.
yesterday it seems india were overly defensive though and today they look to be overly attacking.

TBH £1500 of it was placed when india started the 2nd innings, thought at the time SA should 1.20 or even less than that and to have 1.5 for them was huge money so had to place it.
not really sure why india were fancied by the betting companies.
probably the last bet I will do before my holiday.

Waiting for the test against Afghanistan. The Dhavans, Rahuls, Vijays, Pujaras, Sharma will be scoring 200 +. Make them bowl 150 to 180 overs , score 600. Win by innings and big margin. Bring it on.

No problem. Tours like this are quickly forgotten when home games start again. Its also the Australian way:)

TBH it isn't really the indian way, if anything the indian think too much and place too much importance on Away games.
Kohli spoke about it to nasser on the masterclass that he felt the pressure in the 2014 england series that he had to score runs in england othewise he isn't a good player and it basically got to him.
Although not sure he doing what he said at the time that he wanted to clear his mind and just bat normally.
if anything at the moment it seems majority of the batting line up is pretty nervous and are probably placing too much on scoring runs here.

It's in June. We play Afghans at Bengaluru. Too far though to forget such a shambolic batting performance yet again. We have IPL soon to forget how bad out batters are in some countries.
