You might want to consider changing your signature to 'ANTI ENGLAND'.

not sure I can remember the last time Santiago has bowled 5 straight bouncers at anyone.... not often he bowls 1, let alone 5. At the same time, I'll defend any team who wants to do that having found an umpire daft enough to let them. Why wouldn't you? You blew the tail away 4 years ago and it worked in spades, so of course you'll do it again. I know I would!

ah, right. There's a reason he's called St Jimmy (Santiago). Of course, he's a tosser... always has been, always will be... but it's a legimate call, I think, to ask an umpire the question of why a tail ender has to endure 5 consecutive bouncers without any action being taken. As long as he asked politely, and I've no reason to suspect that he didn't, that seems okay to me

When I noticed the sig, I fully expected Dr C to have no discussion on the whole series, and not be the leading poster...

For me the Aussies are bowling a few too many bouncers. Probably due to the fact the pitches in Australia now are so dead.

But it is a bit of a whine from Anderson. Talk to the umpires or match referee, but don't do it to the media. Anderson is one of the least liked cricketers going round.

He is the opening bowler, so give it back to Starc, Cummings and Hazelwood. Im not sure how well his medium pace bouncers would go down, but give it a try. Do what McGrath did to the windies all those years ago, fight fire with fire.

fighting fire with fire is not the British way

and they'll be too scared they'll cop it back with interest. Stokes would have done, but no-one else will.

by Perth they'll be so scared of copping it, that they'll be walking out to the crease with bulges in the back of their trousers where the tortoises head keeps popping out, so starting a war is not in their interest
