In the first of three ODIs at Coolidge, the 'a' team beat the England Lions by five runs. Jermaine Blackwood hit 99, and allrounder Rahkeem Cornwall 44, to propel the West Indies to 272 all out, as Curran, Gleeson, Coughlin and Parkinson all took two wickets each. Cornwall took two wickets, but the star of the show was medium pacer Keemo Paul, who snared 5-49 to dismiss the Lions for 267 all out. Sam Hain hit 144 and Nick Gubbins 52.

England 83-1---->93-6.

Well done to Sam Hain for the 120 ball 144.

Looks like the bowlers won England the game and then the batters lost it.

3 spinners in the England attack Parkinson with particularly impressive figures.

Been impressed with Parkinson seen him a few times in county cricket, looks to be a much more confident version of Crane...he lands it where he wants to on a more regular basis, his control looks good, gives it a good rip, and good to see him in the side

Totally agree. Very impressive stats for Lancs in 2017 blast. 14 wkts at av.14 with E.R 6. Like all young leggers should confine himself to White ball cricket for the present.

Twin brother. He's SLA Orthodox but Michael is rightarm leg break. This series must be top secret- can't find score updates anywhere.

Yet another day, yet another West Indies victory...it's been a long time since I said that about a series against England.

The 'A' team wrapped up the ODI series against the England Lions with a 25-run win in the second match at Coolidge. Jermaine Blackwood continued his good ODI form with 53, and allrounder Keemo Paul chipped in with 55, to rescue the home team from 79-5 and propel them to 256-9. Sam Curran took 3-41 and Gleeson 3-52.

Paul returned to take 3-55 with his medium pacers and the scourge of the Lions batting, left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican, 3-41, to dismiss England for 231 all out, Sam Northeast, Keaton Jennings and Davies all hitting 30s.

The England Lions ended their tour of the Caribbean with a consolation seven-wicket win over the West Indies 'A' team at Coolidge.

Parkinson took 4-26 to dismiss the West Indians for a paltry 166 all out, Roston Chase topscoring with 67. Hain then hit 54 not out and Davies 48, as the Lions romped to victory with 19 overs to spare. Offspinner Rahkeem Cornwall took two wickets.

Makes you wonder if both series would have been closer had Parkinson been in from the start of the tour.

Doubtful Westo, as Dominic Bess bowled as the second spinner in thelong format and did well onece Crane had buggered off.
