Got to say I like Joe root mindset, Suspect people in ECB and few players might have a hard time in the future considering Root doesn't accept mediocrity.

with England resources and money they really shouldn't be happy just winning at home, they should be looking to win every game in every format and basically only be happy when they are the best.
Same goes with Australia and India.

305 to win. Paine spoiled the momentum for Aussies. Finch must be disappointed by the total they achieved in spite of a good ton by opener.

Probably not enough runs. The Australian batting line up just does not seem to have that depth to it at present.

Its a shame Faulkner has lost his way of late.

Top 6 can adapt to ODI. Paine at 7 is a problem. Not a hitter. No. 7 has to be a cameo player or at least someone who is better bat than Paine.

Wades lack of form has meant Paine is the only option at present. unless the try to force in a part time keeper like Bancroft.

Cameron kept in the last Big Bash against Adelaide. Kept in few Sheffield Shield matches as well. However, not sure whether is keeping is good enough or average level. Batting wise also not sure whether he will fit No. 7 role.

As if Chrish Gayle is batting at his peak SR.

Jason scoring runs faster than T20 pace.

Wicket of Bairstow pops the bubble. I know JB has done well recently, but Hales and Roy worked too and feels like a classic opening pairing.

I thought Starcraft must be an IPL nickname! But you changed it so maybe auto-correct.

Hales goes. England need a partnership. Two down and the spinner isn't even on yet.

I see an Austin Waugh played for Australia under19 last night. Maybe offspring of one of the twins?
