Heck of a hike from Sorrento to inner city Melbourne each day.

We stayed 2 km from the ground.

We were there for Christmas. Might have moved to a camp site after the first day of the Test. But that was a hell of a way from the centre too.

Aussie beer has come on miles in the last 10 years, you'll be pleased to know AC. There's been quite the craft beer revolution here. Some of it is even drinkable...

I have not been down the Mornington Peninsula since the mid-80's. That will be rectified in April, when we have a couple of weeks seeing some of Victoria. (Yarra Valley, The Dandenongs, Mornington P, Great Ocean Road, Ballarat, and Melbourne) really looking forward to it.


So lucky to have been to all of those places GJ (and more) at various times in the past 14 or so years - yet when I was a kid in the 50s the mere thought of going to Australia was as far away as flying to the moon.

Pretty much welling up at the thought..........have a great time.
