Under 19 World Cup

Postby Dr Cricket » Tue Jan 16, 2018 10:18 pm

Just saw the Kenyan team and looks like there are two players from the same village/ community as me in the team.
A Bhudia and a hirani.
My cousin will be please a 2nd bhudia to play cricket for a international team.
Wonder when someone from my surname plays cricket lol.

Be so mint if they are from madhaphur though.
Not surprised their quite a few from our community in the team, last time I heard it was mostly our community playing cricket in the team from the age groups.

West indies embroiled in another spirit of cricket debate.

Mountain out of a molehill

The ball was clearly live as it spun towards the stumps and Pillay handled the ball almost instantenously after it stopped. West Indies have nothing to apologise for as far as I am concerned.

Just spotted Afghanistan's thrashing of NZ.

A couple of Zadrans in the side. Presumably not the well known ones.

Lloyd Pope. I'll just leave it at that.

India's new ball bowlers are quicker than the Ind seamers in SA - could find themselves fast-tracked into the first team soon, especially when we have to go to Aus

rather dramatically indeed!!

A young leggie, Lloyd Pope, took the first English wicket when they were 0/47 chasing less than 130. By the time England were all out - for a paltry 96 - Pope had himself 8 wickets for 35 runs.

Apparently, this young redhead is a bit of a larrikan and thrives on the pressure moments.

you think that the media in Aus have jumped on his bandwagon? You reckon there's been a few predictions about his future?
Maybe

I think I won something, sometime
