Pakistan are in big trouble in the final.

Maybe their youngsters have been genetically modified, and lack the choking gene.

You really dn't think that a win in the U19's has any chance of getting rid of this, do you?

Not if I've got anything to do with it.

Well done South Africa.

A win in the U19 WC makes up for all the epic meltdowns their senior team have suffered on the big stage all these years? Are you for real?

Day 1 sees England thrash Fiji and Bangladesh beat the defending champions South Africa.
impressive batting from Nazmul Hossain Shanto saw bangladesh post 240 with Wian mulder being the pick of the South African bowlers
Liam Smith posted an impressive century for south africa, but no one else provided any other score as bangladesh easily won.

Centuries for Dan lawrence and Jack Burnham.

Tomorrow is Afghanistan vs Pakistan
Canada vs Sri lanka
Ireland vs India
Nepal vs New Zealand

Under 19 world cup is always a good watch because it is so unpredictable barring india or Pakistan making the final.
very open as well since 12-13 teams always have a good shout of going far, looking at it all the groups are tough to call.
Afghanistan are such a dangerous team here because they can pick more player because they have one more year advantage 20 year old can play for them.
Although looking at the squad no associate team have picked a 20 year old so that point is irrelevant here.

Group A should see Bangldesh and one of SA/Scotland go through.
Scotland vs South Africa will be the crucial game can see scotland winning that.
Group B is a tough group got a feeling Sri lanka will be knocked out 2 under 19 world cup in a row by Afghanistan
Group C England and West indies should go through easily.
Group D was a group of death but with Aus pulling out India and NZ should go through.

Bookies have India massive favourites they are basically evens to win the competition, with Bangladesh and Pakistan heavily fancied.

quite annoying the world cup played in Bangladesh, if it was held somewhere else england could win the trophy got a really good squad although like always in under 19 world cups batting can be the problem one reason India/Pakistan do well here their batting is usually 100 times better than the opposition.
230 is a winning total in under 19 cricket.
