Maybe not tidying his room or for playing his records too loud.

Or for staying in his room when Mr Flower visited.

surely it has to do with not doing his homework?

Anyway, he is dropped - from what? When is the next time they play?

Seems to be a long tournament. Even when you're knocked out, you go on playing.

The Final is on today. India would be pleased with themselves - for bowling Aus out for just 216, when they looked on track for 250-280.

Last 4 wickets went for 4 runs, in 12 balls. Aus all out with 3 overs left to bowl.

Yessssssss.

Good bowling followed by contribution from top 3. Manjot carried his bat and steered the team to victory.

Ind dominant throughout the series - all very comfortable really. Probably the strongest U19 side I've seen

Strong top 3 and a strong pace attack did the damage

Shubman, Nagorkoti and maybe Mavi might not be too far away from getting involved in the senior squads. Manjot did well in the final, but the others that have scored U19 final centuries have not really kicked on so he needs to stay focussed and be mindful of that. Shaw was solid but I'd guess expectations of him were higher.

Some interesting results in the 2020 edition so far.

Afghanistan beat hosts South Africa by seven wickets.

West indies beat Australia by three wickets.

Just looked this up and watched a few highlights. Looked very exciting.

Needing 40 from the final three overs after losing 5-53 chasing 253 to win, Australia looked down and out before Sully struck three sixes and a four in the 48th over to keep his side's title hopes alive.

I thought it was early in the comp for there to be knock-out stages, but now we move into the Quarters, and England did not make it through.

Watched this up to the 25 over mark ...I thought Australia had it well under control at that time (only 2 down and needing about five per over) so was a bit surprised it ended up so close ! Wish I'd woken up in time for that remarkable finish...

Afghanistan topped Group D with South Africa second.

A sign of the future?
