170 for SA to get. Looks like the Aussies could do with a bit of bad light and respite.

Nine wickets in the match for Mitch2. I guess with so many fine pace bowlers on show, there might be some macho, alpha-male red meat eating status in being the primal pace bowler in the series. Maybe you win a gold bone-weapon.

Credit to South Africa for a decent fist of it with bat and ball in the second innings, but after 162 all our it was all but inevitable. At least they didn't fold when behind under pressure, unlike a certain other team who has recently played Australia

Sounds like there have been complaints about a few of the Aussies' conduct during the game.

No miracles in Durban. De Kock goes and Australia win by 118 runs.

Which he hasn't been charged for anything - yet.

Seems incongruous, in comparison to Lyon's behaviour towards ABdV after running him out - which he HAS been charged for. Lyon dropped the ball next to de Villiers on the way past him - no doubt he was yelling at the time, but it did not seem to be directed at AB. Whereas Wee Davey was having a prolonged and aggressive rant at de Kock - so much so, it took Khawaja, Paine, Lyon and even Smith to move him on.

Surely Warner is to be charged with misconduct soon?
Maybe

I read that the match referee was reviewing the footage and investigating.

I believe Warner has also been cited for the De Villiers incident and hasnt been charged like Lyon because of the additional incident, as yet. He apparently ran up to ABDV and had some choice words to say to him after the run out.

If Warner is going to dish it out, then its going to come back. Obviously there are some easy things to have a go at Warner about, like his wife.

I guess if he doesn't want things said to him, best not be giving it out to everyone else.

Good to see Markram back in the runs, looks a talented player, hopefully Elgar will be fit for 2nd test, think this opening partnership could finally be the one that sticks for SA!

Australia claiming Wee Davey was provoked by de Kock, so South Africa are equally culpable.

I'm not sure what to think, apart from why can't they all grow the hell up. The amount of trash talk on the cricket field these days is stupid. Australia seem to be a particularly bad offender, but they're not the only ones. England do it, India do it, West Indies do it. Let the bat and ball do the talking!
