All out. SA quicks have done a great job but possibly let the Aussies off at the end. Final 2 wickets have added 60 runs. Could be vital.

Well batted by Tim at the end, looked after the tail well. :salute

Rabade easily the pick of the bowlers. :salute

Australia 243 all out.

Now we will see how good the south African batsmen are.

Seems that Rabada might miss out on the last two tests. His send of Smith could well land him in trouble, and with 5 demirt points already earned, could be a long break for the bowler.....

A long suspension might change attitudes a bit. Shame it might come to that though. And history tells us that the SA board will try and weasel their way out of it rather than accepting it was coming.

Just the way they (seemingly) orchestrated a "poor us" campaign, pre-series.

Amongst others, Dale Steyn saying in interviews how it was unfair that Rabada is so constrained going into the series, that it is like his main weapon has been taken away from him.

Crap, crap and a little more crap.

Good start for SA, with 29 for the nightwatcher Rabada (how frustrating for the Aussies). Pretty larghissimo from Elgar though.

Have just read that Rabada may be out of the series. These demerit points seem a little OTT to me, telling someone to f off after getting them out really isn't the worst... just healthy competitive nature.

Aussies in a spot. Will they get the old ball swing that Rabada got yesterday?

Very slow going and a couple of wickets down. Twelve overs to the new ball. Looks like a crucial passage of play.
