Now du Plessis out for nine. Five down.

Another failure for de bruyne. Bavuma should come in for him in the third test if he recovers from his finger injury.

And de Villiers gets his half century!
:clap
But de Kock is out for nine. Seven down.

GG - Amir Sohail wrote:Have just read that Rabada may be out of the series. These demerit points seem a little OTT to me, telling someone to f off after getting them out really isn't the worst... just healthy competitive nature.

To miss more than the one match does seem to be ott, I agree. The penalty will depend on what he has been charged with (and found guilty of).

Yelling in the face of a batsman is maybe not worthy of a suspension, but doing it repeatedly, and after being censured for it several times, is a different matter - and just plain dumb.

There's also the matter of him giving Smith a shoulder charge - nothing major, but it did look deliberate. If he gets a suspension, it is down to stupidity.

69 partnership for Big Vern and ABDV has wrenched the wheel from the grasp of the Aussies.

Philander out for a useful 36. He bats better than de bruyne.

AB de Villiers gets his century!
:clap
Maharaj out for a quickfire 30.

South Africa 382 all out.

AB de Villiers 126 not out.

Rabada bowled one at 151 kph today. The fastest i think this year in test cricket.

Wahab Riaz bowled one yesterday at 150 kph in PSL match versus Quetta Gladiators. He is bowling consistently over 145 this year.

Wonderful innings by Amla and ABD to take this lead. Keshav contributed decent runs in lower order.

Wasn't expecting much from Khawaja in this series but that's a crucial fifty and about all square with six wickets in hand for the tourists.

And Mitch3 continues a very good series. Another excellent Test.

Just seen on cricinfo that ABDV hasn't been dismissed by a bowler in this series- his only removal being a run out.

Top scorer in the series with one of the two hundreds to be posted.

A long way to go for the Aussies to set a meaningful total. Unless someone makes a ton it's hard to see beyond a home win. When the Aussies had Gilchrist (and Warne and McG), they'd still feel dangerous in this situation.

Rabada continuing to go through the Aussies with ease. Almost certainly to be over before Tea tonight.

Aus fans will be keen to see no Rabada playing next test...
