Elgar gets his century and de Villiers gets his half century!
Three down as de Villiers is out for 64.
Bavuma and du Plessis out cheaply. Australia back in this. Now de Kock goes cheaply too.

What a spell from Cummins. Got rid of ABD, Faf and Temba without giving too many runs. Gets Aussies back in the match.

Six wickets for 46 runs. That's given the Aussies a big share of the day. Tough for Elgar.

Not often an opener carries his bat. A big achievement.

Well, it's never any other batsman does.....
Cricinfo just told me that this is Elgar's 3rd time doing - only Haynes (Desmond, I assume) and Dean. Have achieved that milestone.
No small claim to fame.

Morkel again! Shaun Marsh out for 26.
Philander gets the important wicket of Bancroft for 77 just before tea. Just after tea he removed Mitchell Marsh for five.

That was Lyono's highest Test score.
Frustrating for the bowlers!
