Maharaj removed Khawaja for seven.

Morkel burns Joe for 42.

Just a matter of time.

I'm amazed we've managed to take this match into the fifth day. My money was on a two and a half day debarkle.

It might have been if SA had enforced the follow-on. But with a 2-1 lead and an injured Morkel, Faf obviously wanted to ensure the series win before pushing for victory in this game. Understandably so.

Can Australia bat a whole day without Smith in their ranks? Seems doubtful.

I'm starting to think a Marsh-Cummins captaincy-vice captaincy duo might do a job going forward.

Philander gets both Marsh brothers!

What a first over!

Philander again! Handscomb out for 24.

Philander gets his fourth wicket! Paine out for seven.

Philander gets his five fer! Cummins bowled for a duck!
:clap
Make that six. Sayers out for a duck!

Yes, but not quite so abysmally.

Well done, SA, probably you would have won this series without the massive controversy and upheaval within the Aus camp. As it went, it was the most emphatic of test wins.

Aus have more than a few wounds to lick.

Unbelievable. I just checked in to see what the score at lunch was, and it's all over in a session.

492 runs. Fourth highest margin of victory by runs ever, and highest ever by South Africa over any side. Australia's humiliation is complete, and they suffer their first loss in South Africa since readmission. What a turnaround from the triumphant home Ashes just 3 months ago.

Seems this series hasn't brought much credit to the reputations of either side.

Maybe Morkel. Glad he could bow out with a win.

No suprise OZ capitulated, but credit to SA, they got the job done, and deserve the series win
